You post a product. The DMs come in. Someone pays. You pack. You ship.
And then — silence.
They got what they ordered. You got your money. And that's where the relationship ends — until they need something else.
This is the hidden cost of DM selling. Every sale is a fresh start. You build trust from zero every single time. There's no mechanism to reward loyalty, no reason for a buyer to choose your store over a competitor's, and no way to turn a one-time transaction into a relationship that compounds over time.
Until now.
We're launching two connected features that change the economics of how you sell on Swadesic:
- Supporter Pricing — exclusive lower prices for people who follow your store
- Store Wallets — a built-in rewards system that gives buyers real reasons to keep coming back
The Problem: One-Time Sales Don't Build a Business
If you've been selling through Instagram or WhatsApp for a while, you've felt this:
- A buyer purchases once, then you never hear from them again
- You run a discount to attract new customers, but it only works for the first order
- You have no way to reward your best customers differently from first-time browsers
- Every month, you start from zero — same hustle, same effort, no compounding
Your store grows in followers, but not in repeat revenue.
The core issue is simple: there's no economic incentive for a buyer to stay loyal. In a world where every store is a DM away, switching costs are zero. Without a system that rewards repeat behavior, you're competing on price and convenience alone — and that's a race to the bottom.
Store Wallets and Supporter Pricing are designed to fix exactly this.
What Is Supporter Pricing?
Supporter Pricing is a special lower price on your products that's visible to everyone — but only actionable by supporters.
Here's how it works on your store page:
A visitor sees your product listed at ₹999. Right next to it, they see a crossed-out higher price and a lower price (say ₹849) clearly labeled as the Community Price. A badge or callout invites them to "Support this store to save ₹150."
The price isn't hidden. It's a public incentive — the same way a "Members-only price" sign in a physical store window pulls people to sign up. The difference is visible, and the path to unlock it is clear.
How It Works
- You set aon any product variant — lower than your regular selling pricetext
supporter_price - On your store, every visitor sees the regular price AND the supporter price side by side
- A visitor clicks "Support" to follow your store — supporter pricing activates immediately
- From that moment, they see and checkout at the supporter price on every eligible product
The Discount Chain
When a supporter checks out, discounts stack in this order:
textRegular Selling Price → Supporter Price (immediately on support) → Sale / Collection Discount → Store Wallet Redemption = Final Amount
Supporter pricing applies first, before any sale or wallet discounts. So supporters get the best possible price at every level.
Anti-Abuse Protection: The Unsupport Lock
Supporter pricing is designed for genuine community members, not one-time discount hunters. The protection is simple:
- 10-day unsupport lock — if a supporter places an order using supporter pricing, they cannot unsupport your store for 10 days. This prevents someone from signing up, buying at the lower price, and immediately leaving — while allowing genuine supporters to stay without any friction.
Why This Matters for Sellers
- Converts visitors into supporters — the visible price gap gives every browser a reason to hit "Support"
- Rewards loyalty without discounting for everyone — you're not cutting prices across the board
- Increases average order value — supporters feel they're getting a deal, so they buy more
- Built-in abuse protection — the 10-day unsupport lock prevents pricing abuse without adding friction for genuine supporters
Your ₹1000 product with a ₹150 supporter saving isn't a discount — it's a membership that people can see and want to join.
What Are Store Wallets?
A Store Wallet is a per-store credit balance that every supporter gets when they follow your store.
Think of it like a loyalty card — but smarter. Every supporter has their own wallet for your store, filled with credits they earn through specific actions. They can then redeem those credits for discounts on future purchases.
How Buyers Earn Credits
There are four ways a supporter can earn store credits:
1. Join Bonus — ₹200 on day one When someone supports your store for the first time, they get a one-time credit bonus. You control the amount. Default is ₹200. This creates instant goodwill and gives them a reason to place their first order.
2. Purchase Rewards — cashback on every order Every time a supporter makes a purchase, a percentage of their order value is credited back to their wallet. You control the percentage (default 10%). The more they buy, the more they earn — which means the more they come back.
3. Referral Rewards — your supporters become your ambassadors When a supporter refers a friend to your store, both get rewarded — the existing supporter (referrer) gets credits AND the new person who joins also gets credits. You control the amounts (default ₹50 each). Your most loyal customers become your best customer acquisition channel.
4. Manual Rewards — you control the love At any time, you can issue credits to individual supporters, a selected group, or your entire supporter base. Perfect for special occasions, festival bonuses, or making someone feel appreciated.
How Buyers Spend Credits
During checkout, supporters can redeem their accumulated credits for a discount. You control the maximum percentage of the order that can be paid with credits (default 10%).
So if a supporter has ₹200 in their wallet and their order is ₹1000, they can apply up to ₹100 in credits (10% of ₹1000) and pay ₹900. The remaining ₹100 stays in their wallet for next time.
Credits Expire — But Fairly
Credits earned in a given week are grouped into batches, and each batch expires 8 weeks from when it was earned. This creates gentle urgency — supporters are reminded to come back and use their credits before they expire — without being punishing.
The Seller Side: Full Control, Full Visibility
We built the seller dashboard to give you complete control without adding complexity.
Wallet Configuration
Every store gets a wallet settings panel where you can:
- Enable or disable the entire wallet system with one toggle
- Configure each reward type independently — turn join bonuses on/off, set amounts, adjust percentages
- Override settings per product — some products can have higher/lower purchase reward or redemption percentages
- Preview the economics before you publish changes
Dashboard Analytics
The wallet dashboard shows you:
- Total outstanding credits — how much value your supporters are holding
- Total issued vs redeemed vs expired — are your credits actually driving purchases?
- Active supporters and their average balance
- Revenue generated via wallet redemptions — the ROI of your rewards program
- Full transaction log — every credit earned, spent, or expired
Supporter Management
You can see every supporter's wallet — their balance, how much they've earned, how much they've spent, and their full transaction history. Sort and filter to find your most loyal customers.
Real Examples: How This Plays Out
Example 1: The First-Time Buyer
Riya discovers your store through a friend's referral. She sees a dress listed at ₹1,200 with a ₹999 Community Price badge next to it — saving ₹201 if she supports the store. She clicks "Support."
Immediately she gets:
- Supporter pricing unlocked — that ₹1,200 dress is now ₹999
- ₹200 join bonus added to her wallet
- ₹50 referral reward (invitee bonus from her friend's referral)
She buys the dress at ₹999. Wallet redemption lets her use ₹99 (10% cap) of her ₹250 credits, so she pays ₹900.
- She gets ₹100 cashback from purchase rewards (10% of ₹999) added to her wallet
- Her wallet now has ₹251 credits remaining
She has ₹100 in credits waiting for her next purchase. And since she just used supporter pricing, she's locked in for the grace period — if she tried to unsupport tomorrow, the 10-day lock would prevent abuse of the pricing she just used.
Example 2: The Loyal Customer
Raj has been supporting your store for 3 months. He's made 4 purchases totaling ₹8,000. His wallet shows:
- ₹800 earned from purchase rewards (10% cashback)
- He's redeemed ₹300 so far
- ₹500 remaining in his wallet
For his 5th purchase (₹2000), he can redeem ₹200 (10% cap), pay ₹1800, and earn another ₹180 in purchase rewards.
Over time, his lifetime loyalty earns him real savings — and he's not going to find that at any other store.
Why This Is Different From a Generic Loyalty Program
Most platforms offer loyalty programs — points, tiers, cashback. But they're one-size-fits-all and disconnected from how you actually sell.
Store Wallets are different because:
- Per-store, not per-platform — your wallet is your store's wallet, not Swadesic's. The credits have no value anywhere else. This builds store loyalty, not platform loyalty.
- Fully configurable — you decide the amounts, percentages, and rules. Not us.
- Additive-only — we can only add credits, never take them away (except expiry). Your supporters trust the system.
- Integrated with supporter pricing — the two features work together. Supporter pricing creates the incentive to follow. The wallet creates the incentive to stay.
What This Means for Your DM Business
Let's go back to the original problem. You sell through DMs, and every sale is a one-time event.
With Store Wallets and Supporter Pricing:
- Every new supporter arrives with ₹200 join bonus + ₹50 referral reward — they have a reason to place that first order today
- Every purchase brings them back with more credits — they have a reason to keep coming
- Every referral rewards both the referrer and the newly joined supporter — your best customers become your acquisition channel
- Every supporter sees exclusive pricing — your store feels like a membership, not just another shop
Your store stops being transactional and starts being relational. The buyer isn't just buying a product — they're part of your store's community. And that changes everything about how they behave.
A customer with store credits in their wallet is worth more than a customer without one — not because of the credits, but because of the relationship those credits represent.

What's Next
This is just the beginning of our rewards system. We're already working on:
- Bulk reward campaigns — schedule festival-season bonuses for all supporters at once
- Wallet insights — deeper analytics showing which supporters drive the most repeat revenue
- Tiered supporter levels — higher tiers unlock better rewards and exclusive perks
- Store-to-store referrals — your supporters can refer friends to other stores and earn credits in your store
We built Store Wallets and Supporter Pricing because we believe the future of commerce isn't about getting more customers — it's about keeping the ones you already have.
And for that, you need more than a transaction. You need a relationship.
Store Wallets are the infrastructure for that relationship.
